My approach to KAP is absolutely unique.  It blends personal history with an academic foundation and practical experience.

  • Dr. Phil Wolfson: I had the privilege of completing coursework with the renowned Dr. Phil Wolfson, author of "The Ketamine Papers." It specifically focused on "Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Ketamine Methodologies." Dr. Wolfson's expertise provided me with a deep understanding of the therapeutic use of ketamine.
  • Beckley Academy: My training at the esteemed Beckley Academy provided a comprehensive foundation in psychedelic-assisted therapy, one that honors the wisdom traditions of those who came before us. This rigorous program delved into the neuropharmacology of both on label and off label lab based psychedelics, including ketamine and their  therapeutic applications.  An important academic focus includes ethical and cultural considerations surrounding plant-based medicines.  I cherish my learning in the area of wisdom traditions and respect the shared knowledge from indigenous cultures who have used these substances for millennia.
  • Journey Clinical: a comprehensive training program for its therapists, emphasizing a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy.   Journey Clinical places a strong emphasis on cultural competence, ensuring that therapists are equipped to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Naropa University Full Time Faculty: My background transcends my traditional training which has awarded me multi-state mental health licensure.  During my tenure as full-time faculty at Naropa University's Master's in Transpersonal Counseling and Mindfulness program, I worked alongside respected peers and under rigorous standards which ensured invaluable guidance and pressure testing experience.  Today, my peers staff Naropa University's psychedelic training which encompasses the historical, cultural, and therapeutic aspects of psychedelic-assisted therapies.

My commitment to lifelong learning extends far beyond traditional western education.  I enjoy a unique hands on approach by engaging in a wide array of industry related developments and activities.  As a visiting instructor and dedicated student of psychology, religious studies and philosophy, I actively engage with the latest advancements in psychedelics, neuroscience, and mental health practices through various avenues. This includes participation in organizations like the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and attending relevant events.

My own psychedelic exploration and healing journey has also been a profound teacher.  I continue to investigate clinical trials and my dedication to ongoing continuing education keeps my knowledge base current.

By integrating personal experience with rigorous academic and professional pursuits, I can confidently provide the highest quality, evidence-based KAP treatment while adhering to strict ethical and regulatory standards.
